By New Campo Argentino
Argentine classics, made for everyday Miami
New Campo Argentino opened on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach in 2009. Since then the family has cooked the same way: Argentine recipes done properly, and the kind of service you get at a friend's house. Miami New Times readers voted it Best Argentine Restaurant in 2025 and 2026.
Lomito is what happens when you take the dishes people drive across the bay for, the lomito, the milanesa, the empanadas, the chocotorta, and serve them fast, at a counter, in Edgewater, from the first coffee at 7 AM until the last beer on the patio. Not a steakhouse. Not a coffee shop. An everyday Argentine kitchen.
It's run by Fede, Eva and Luis Legaz, the same family behind New Campo Argentino and Yes! Cafe & Pizza in the Upper Eastside. Eva's chocotorta is on the dessert board; Luis's salad is the house salad; Fede is the one holding the milanesa sandwich in the photos.

Four pillars
Everyday. Product first. All day. No ceremony.

The Lomito
Filet mignon tips pounded thin, ham, mozzarella, bacon, a fried egg, on a toasted baguette or over fries. The one on the sign.

The Mila
Beef or chicken, breaded and fried to order. Clásica with a lemon, napolitana with ham and cheese, or in a sandwich.

Empanadas & coffee
Beef, ham and cheese, spinach, with chimichurri, any hour. And a specialty espresso program that takes the morning seriously.

The family
Three Legaz, one more counter
Luis at the grill since 2009; Fede and Eva running the rooms. Lomito is the third restaurant and the first built for every day: counter service, a real espresso machine, a patio with string lights, and the recipes from Collins Avenue. Order at the counter and we bring it to your table. Tables inside, and a patio out front with string lights.
